Clinical Activities:

Emergency Neurosurgery – operated more than 500 cases over a period of 3 years (either independent or as assistant) including EDH, chronic SDH, contusions/hematomas, compound depressed fracture, base of skull fracture, traumatic cervical listhesis.

Elective Neurosurgery – operated more than 300 cases over a period of 3 years ( either independent or as assistant) including Meningiomas, gliomas, CP angle SOL, posterior fossa SOL, sellar-suprasellar SOL, spinal IDEM/IMSOL, CV junction anomalies, cervical and lumbar PIVD, chiari malformations, lipomeningomyelocele, meningocele, encephalocele , meningomyelocele, shunt , ETV, spinal instrumentation.

Educational Activities

The Academic program in the Department and Hospital included Seminars (Weekly), Journal Clubs (weekly), Case presentations (Weekly), Clinico-Radiological and pathology discussions, Hospital Clinical meeting (Monthly),. City Neurosciences meet (Monthly). Had active part in all academic sessions.

Undertook Teaching of Residents in General Surgery and other Post-Graduate specialties.

Involved in informal teaching during routine ward rounds to residents and nursing staff.
